The name Currier & Ives first appeared in 1857, when Nathaniel Currier (American, 1813-1888); invited James Merritt Ives (1824-1895), the company's bookkeeper and accountant, to become his partner. Reproduced from an original Hand-colored lithograph from a Currier & Ives print in the Cleveland Museum collection, these note cards depict a typical winter scene of an American homestead during late 1800's. A nostalgic reminder of simpler times these cards are great for use during the winter holiday season.
